Google passed the economic stress test Thursday, reporting “reasonably strong” growth in third-quarter sales and profit.
Thanks to a large reduction in expenses, Google’s third-quarter results were slightly better than analysts expected and its stock jumped more than 10 percent in after-hours trading after closing at $353.02.
